Made in France since 1913, the Nicolle® chair embodies over a century of history and artisanal expertise. Founded by Paul-Henry Nicolle, our factory, now located in Meaux (near Paris), continues the tradition of steel craftsmanship with passion and the highest standards. Each chair, stool or seat is carefully made: the metal frame is stamped on massive presses before being assembled by riveting or spot welding, ensuring exceptional strength and durability.
This unique stamping and assembly process gives Nicolle® chairs their sleek, elegant lines while combining industrial design with functionality. The iconic “whale tail” backrest, a true signature of the Nicolle® chair, perfectly supports the lower back thanks to its flexibility, which provides surprising comfort—whether for a workshop chair, a bar stool or an outdoor chair.
